FAQs
Ask Me Anything
Are walks cut short if pick-up or drop-offs take longer?
No, walks will always be 1 hour, timed from the start of the walk to the end. The only time this would change would be due to unforeseen circumstances such as severe weather conditions, a medical emergency, or some other event where the dog walker deems it in the best interest of the group to cut the walk short.
How many dogs can you walk at once?
Groups may consist of up to 6 dogs but this will be dependent on the dogs in the group. The safety and harmony of the group is the most important thing, so as long as this can be maintained, additional dogs can join the group (up to a maximum of 6).
My pet needs to go to the vet. Will you take them?
Yes. The dog walker will take your dog to the vet stipulated by you if required. If they are full, they will be taken to your approved alternative.
Will my dog(s) be walked off the lead?
This will depend on whether you have given your consent to do so on the off-lead waiver form. Where consent has been given and where the behaviour and recall of the dog allows, we will always aim to let the dog off the lead where it is safe to do so. Our goal is that all of the dogs we walk have the best time possible and we believe that dogs generally have the best time when they are allowed off the lead, to run and play together in nature.
Do you walk un-neutered males?
No, we made the decision not to walk un-neutered males as even if they are really friendly, their smell can cause other dogs to become aggressive. So for the sake of maintaining harmony on our group walks we have decided not to walk them. Young dogs that you are planning to have neutered will be considered.
